Veteran Actor Justus Esiri’s Burial Arrangement is Out

Family of the late Veteran Nollywood actor, Chief Justus Esiri released detail of his burial arrangement yesterday.
According to Mr George Esiri, The Late Nollywood actor will be buried in his hometown of Abraka in Delta State On Friday 12th April, 2013. There will be a service of songs on April 9, followed by a commendation mass atSt. Jude Catholic Church, Mafoloku in Lagos state, of April 10th, 2013.

The body will be flown to Warri immediately after the service for the final burial. The body will proceed to Abraka from Warri where there will be another commendation mass/lying in state at Polo Turf on the 12th of April. The body will then leave for his residence in Abraka for interment and entertainment of guest.

Nigerians Are Good People Indeed

The dispatch with which ordinary Nigerians rescued the motorist whose vehicle plunged into the Lagos lagoon from the Third Mainland Bridge on Saturday, January 26, 2013 proved once more that Nigerians are great people. Unlike most stories from Nigeria that usually end on a sad and demoralising note, this story ended on a happy note like a Nollywood film. It was nothing short of a miracle. The sole occupant of that vehicle was brought out of the lagoon alive. Police Arrest Redeemers University Student Over Death Of Suspected Gay Banker

Homicide detectives of the Lagos State Criminal Investigations Department, Panti, Yaba, have arrested an undergraduate of the Redeemers University, Ogun State, in connection with the brutal murder of a suspected gay banker, Adindu Ohamara. According to sources, the banker was on April 9, found in a pool of his blood in his room, having been stabbed severally by the suspect. Six persons were thereafter arrested in connection with the crime by detectives from the Homicide Unit of the State Criminal Investigations Department ,SCID,in Panti, Lagos State. Some of the persons picked-up by the Police included, a sister of the deceased, Flora who regained her freedom on Wednesday.
