Security operatives have continued to lay siege on the premises of Amigo Supermarket and Wonderland Amusement Park in Abuja following an alleged link between one of its Lebanese co-owners, Fauzi Fawad, and a terror group. Last week, officers of Nigeria’s anti-terror agency, the Joint Task Force, recovered a cache of weapons in a depot reportedly owned by a Lebanese businessman. A security source disclosed that three Lebanese men were also arrested after a raid on the depot. The raid was triggered by a tip that there was an underground bunker in the home a Lebanese businessman. Security operatives searched the house as well as other locations in the city. A 23-year-old woman has given birth to quintuplets in the Czech Republic, officials say, a first for the country. Alexandra Kinova had four boys and a girl by caesarean section on Sunday, they say. The births took place "without any complications", according to doctors at Prague's Institute for the Care of Mother and Child. The mother and babies were placed in an intensive care unit but are believed to be in a good condition. The Czech Republic's first quintuplets, who were conceived naturally without IVF, have a 95% chance of growing up healthy, the Associated Press quoted Zbynek Stranak, chief doctor at the neonatal section of the institute, as saying. The boys' names are reportedly Daniel, Michael, Alex and Martin, while the girl is called Terezka. The mother of Grammy-winning pop star Bruno Mars has died in Hawaii. Bernadette Hernandez died Saturday of a brain aneurysm, according to a publicist for Mars’ label, Atlantic Records, who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the person was not authorized to speak on the record. Hernandez was 55 years old. She died in Honolulu at Queens Medical Center; no other information was given. The nefarious activity perpetrated by petroleum marketers has gone unnoticed by many motorists as they drive into the filling stations to fill their tanks. For every ten liters sold to a motorist, it is not unlikely that he drives away with less than seven litres due to the adjusted meters by the filling stations. The implication is that the petroleum marketer gains additional three liters. According to findings, petroleum marketers make about N4 per litre on a truck load of 33,000 liters as they buy around N93 per liter (depot price plus transportation cost) to bring the cost of purchase to N3.069.000. A member of the Peoples Democratic Party’s Board of Trustees, Alhaji  Shuaibu  Oyedokun, has described former President Olusegun Obasanjo as an embarrassment to the ruling party.   Oyedokun, a former National Deputy Chairman of the party, spoke in Osogbo on Sunday. He accused Obasanjo of being the cause of the crises besetting the PDP, even as he rained curses on PDP members he accused of seeking the destruction of the party. According to the Osun-born politician, Obasanjo’s activities in recent times are capable of causing the disintegration of the party in the South-West. Nigerian international, John Chukwudi Utaka married his heartthrob in France over the weekend. The Nigerian striker exchanged marital vows with his 'white' lover in the presence of well-wishers. Utaka was formerly a player with Portsmouth FC of England along with Kanu Nwankwo. He didn't achieve much success with the club unlike when he played in France.  He later moved back to France where he won the league for Montpellier in a 2-1 win against Auxerre in May 2012.
