Key Aides Of Late Governor Yakowa Expelled From Kaduna State


According to reports in December 2012, about five key aides of the late Governor Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa of Kaduna State were today relieved of their appointments and replaced by the new governor, Mr. Mukhtar Ramalan Yero.
A source in Kaduna Government House confirmed to SaharaReporters that the state Commissioner of Information, Saidu Adamu, made the announcement on the Kaduna state-run media houses.
The aides booted out includes, Lawal Samaila Abdullahi, Secretary to the State Government (SSG),  Abokie Galadima, Chief of Staff Government House Kaduna, Reuben Buhari, Senior Special Assistant Media, Yohanna Allamagni, Principal Private Secretary,  Engr. Bala, Political Adviser.
The officials were replaced with the following, Hamza Ishaq Danmahawayi as SSG, Yahaya Aminu Chief of Staff, Ahmed Maiyaki Director General Media and Publicity to the Governor, Aliyu Samaila PPS, and Garba Madami as Political Adviser.
The source added that the new governor carried out the action in good faith as a step of taking full control of running the affairs of Kaduna State, adding that there is nothing like wiping away Yakowa's legacy from  the government.
