Kim and Kanye just dropped $11 million for a 14,000-square-foot mansion in a gated community in Bel Air, CA.

The home, which is under construction, (pictured below) will have a gym, a movie theater, full hair and makeup salon, bowling alley, basketball court, indoor and outdoor pool.

Kim and Kanye have owned the house for a few weeks and they've already gutted it and are designing a 14,000-square-foot dream home in its place.

Floating School for Makoko Slum Residents

Residents of Makoko/Iwaya Waterfront in Yaba Local Council Development Area, LCDA, will soon begin to enjoy the luxury of a floating school jointly built by the United Nations Development Programme, UNDP and NLE Works, Nigeria. The three storey floating building is part of the regeneration plan for the coastal community. According to the builders the construction of the school is aimed at achieving the Millennium Development Goals, MDGs, Goal II, which is to boost universal primary education. This came barely eight months after the Lagos State government demolished hundreds of ‘illegal structures in the area. The residents of the community anticipate that many of their children will now have access to sound education. The new primary school named ‘Makoko floating School’, was built on a foundation of 256 plastic drums and powered by solar panels suspended on the roof.   The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) would in the nearest future be able impose stiffer punishment on promoters of Ponzi schemes and other unregistered investment schemes, if changes to its laws are passed by the National Assembly. Under the proposed law, ‘A bill to repeal the Investment and Securities Act 2007 and to enact the Investments and Securities Act, 2021’ which passed the second reading at the floor of the House of Representatives yesterday, SEC will be empowered to address the challenges of Ponzi schemes.
