Emotion ran high, yesterday, when practitioners in the movie industry gathered to pay their last respect to Justus Esiri, who died on the February 17. The event was a candle light procession in honour, which took place at Ojez at the National Stadium complex, Surulere. In attendance were some of the prominent nollywood stars, Ini Edo, Rita Dominic, Kate Henshaw, Segun Arinze, Olu Jacobs and his wife, Joke Silver, Julius Agwu, Oke Bakassi, Fidelis Duke, Ernest Obi, Ifeanyi Dike, amongst others. Paying tribute to late Esiri, AGN President, Ibinabo Fiberesima, who was represented at the occasion by Ini Edo said: “Late Esiri lived a fulfilled life,” adding that Esiri made AGN what it is today and he wanted a positive change for the industry which of course was achieved before his death.
